Oct 20th : Sunnybank Hills State School Multifest
The Sunnybank Hills State School Multifest is not an ordinary school fete....Multifest is an amazing celebration - a night time carnival of Rides, wonderful multicultural Food and non-stop onstage Entertainment! Oct 20th : Beerwah Street Party
The Beerwah Street Party is a free family event, with free rides, amusements, and community stalls. Simpson Street will be closed to traffic so we can take over the town and enjoy performances by school students and local performers. There will be some Elvis Presley lookalikes at our Elvis impersonation competition too. We have lots of food choices, with our fabulous local shops taking to the streets, as well as food vans to add to the festive atmosphere. 4.00pm to 9.00pm. - Beerwah Qld.
Oct 21st : Pullenvale Spring Fair
Pullenvale Spring Fair offers a fun filled afternoon and evening for all people in Pullenvale and surrounding communities. Fair patrons will enjoy a host of culinary delights against a backdrop of fun and activity including food trucks, a bar and live band, face painting, snow cones, fairy floss, lollies, ice cream, pony rides, animal farm and amazing rides for all ages. 3pm to late - 120 Grandview Pde, Pullenvale.
Oct 21st : St Olivier Plunkett Spring Fete
The St Ollie's Spring Fete is all about the kids, and promises to be an affordable day of family fun and activities. Fun stuff includes cupcake decorating, scavenger hunt, make-your-own pot plant, lob-a-choc, tombola, lucky dips, rides and performances. Other stalls include cake stall, old fashioned lolly stall, cafe, Greek food and a delicious barbecue and much more. Oct 21st : Summertime Riverfest
Australia’s Biggest Duck Race is just one of the many attractions at this good-cause festival for everyone aged 0 – 100, all in aid of cancer research for the PA Research Foundation, at the home of the world’s first cancer vaccine. Oct 21st : Toowong Hands and Hearts Fair
Toowong State School is holding the Hands and Hearts Fair to celebrate the cultural diversity and and uniqueness of our school. Not only do students from over 40 cultures attend our school, but we run a nationally recognised Auslan/English program for deaf and hearing children. Oct 21st : Gold Coast Festival of Kites
Kirra Beach will come alive on Saturday 21 October 2017 as Connecting Southern Gold Coast presents the popular Gold Coast Festival of Kites. Bright and colourful kites of all shapes and sizes will take over the Kirra skyline transforming the sky into a spectacular kite flying masterclass that will have all ages captivated. Renowned flyers from across the country will add a unique blend of art and ingenuity to the festival’s colourful skies, making it a must see for families and kite enthusiasts. Join the Salisbury State School community for rides, food, books, plants, lob-a-choc and general fun at our 2017 fete. Oct 22nd : Bulimba Uke Fest
Slip on a Hawaiian shirt and lei, get into the tropical feel of our fun, family uke day – the Bulimba Uke Festival! There are prizes for best-dressed, a Uke Shred Competition with prize ukuleles donated by Guitar Brothers at Red Hill. With a jam-packed program starting at 11am and going through til late, there’s something for everyone. Bands, Uke Groups, young and old performers, food, drinks, cocktails, jumping castle and probably some pineapples floating around! Oct 24th : Sunnybank State Primary School Fireworks Fiesta Fete
All students, parents, caregivers, teachers and the wider public are invited to the Sunnybank State School Fireworks Fiesta Fete on Tuesday 24 October for a fun-filled afternoon and evening of entertainment, food, shopping and fireworks. The festivities will start at 4pm and entry is FREE for all! For everyone's enjoyment there will be student performances, fairground rides, animal nursery, sideshow games, face painting, raffles, dance group performances, Super Hero Magic Show and live music by the River City Steel Band. Throughout the event, there will be great festival food, including hamburgers, sausage sizzle, international flavours, potato slinky (original from Eumundi markets), wood fired pizza, fairy floss, yummy fruit icecreams, popcorn and high quality coffee provided by Monte Lupo Gallery Coffee Shop plus much more. Pumicestone State School Twilight Fete is holding their first ever fete on Friday, October 27 and it will be HUGE! Spend the afternoon browsing the stalls that will be run by our classes offering a variety of activities, games, novelty goods for sale & Face painting. Purchase a raffle ticket for the chance to win some great prizes. There will be rides available with armbands able to be pre purchased on the day or before. Oct 27th to 29th : Goodna Jacaranda Festival
The Goodna Jacaranda Festival will be our biggest year yet, with a huge headline act taking the festival to a new level. The festival boasts live entertainment the entire weekend, a vast array of market stalls, and a huge sideshow alley with rides and games. A car show and massive fireworks display is also planned for this year. Nov 4th : Springfield Anglican College Twilight Markets
The Springfield Anglican College Twilight Markets is held annually and is a premier family entertainment event in the Greater Springfield area. The Twilight Markets attract a large crowd of several thousand each year. Spectators enjoy five hours of carnival fun for all ages, with some 90+ stall holders showcasing their wares, and the opportunity to watch stage performances by local community groups and the College music and dance performance groups. Nov 4th : Brisbane Convoy for Kids
The Annual Brisbane Convoy for Kids winds its way along the Logan Motorway, Gateway and Deagon Deviation before crossing in to Redcliffe where it will travel along the waterfront and finally end at the Redcliffe Showgrounds. After a hectic day everyone can chill out and spend a relaxing evening at our concert. There's carnival rides, food, drinks, a Ute and Truck Show plus much more. So, come along and enjoy a fun filled day and evening to support Redcliffe and Beenleigh Special Schools and Brisbane Convoy for Kids - Logan to Redcliffe.
Nov 10th : Sherwood Community Festival
The Sherwood Community Festival is a free family event, sponsored by Brisbane City Council, which each year keeps getting bigger and better. This year it will be on Friday, 10th November, from 5.30 pm to 9.30 pm. There will be a section dedicated to a huge variety of food stalls, a pop-up library, a mobile van with all the latest computer game, plus all the other market stalls, rides and live entertainment. - Sherwood Rd, Sherwood.

Silkstone State School annual fun day fundraiser is our Spring Fair - a great family day out with something for everyone from fantastic rides, car displays, Eat Street Cafe, performances, stalls, raffles, games, displays, activities and more. Nov 11th : Mary River Festival
Bringing the community together to celebrate the wealth and abundance that the river brings to the region, the Mary River Festival has a huge program including drama, music, art, fun, education, environmental discussions and displays. Come and learn Zumba, drumming, photography, weaving and juggling. Kids will also have heaps of fun with face painting, a circus, parades and games all throughout the festival. There is also plenty of live music on the main stage which will keep you entertained throughout the day. You will also find an array of stalls selling a range of hot and cold foods as well as cold drinks and coffee. The Jungle Love Festival is a boutique music festival that celebrates up and coming local musicians, artists and art workers. Dec 31 : Morayfield New Years Eve Celebration
Come along and enjoy a night full of live entertainment, rides, Kids activities, food stalls and of course 2 massive fireworks shows at this year's Morayfield New Years Eve Celebration.
