May 4th - Junction Park State School Fete

The 2014 Junction Park State School Fete will be held on Sunday, May 4th from 9.30am to 3.00pm. Our theme this year is Tropicana: Heart, Harvest & Hoopla, which represents our schools commitment to our community; our growing gardens and fruits orchard; and celebration of our dynamic school. The legendary Fete Stalls & Activities will be back, including all of your favorites such as Vintage Clothing, Trash 'N Treasure, Second-hand Books, Plants, Showbags, Face Painting, Raffles and much more. There's Food & Drink stalls galore, so don't miss our classic Aussie Hamburgers, Roast Beef Rolls, Sausage Sizzle, Japanese Food, Vietnamese Food, Hot Chips, Cakes, Coffee Shop, and delightful Sweets. May 25th - C & K Tarragindi War Memorial Kindergarten Fete

Tarragindi War Memorial Kindergarten is gearing up once again for loads of fun and laughter when it opens its doors for the annual fete on Sunday 25th May. Our school fete comes alive with carnival rides, side show alley and all the fun of the fair. Parents cook up yummy cakes, fudges, toffees and other tasty treats. The Bonogin Valley Spring Fair is a fabulous community event situated in the Gold Coast Hinterland. Sep 27th - Sunsuper Riverfire

Sunsuper Riverfire, everyone's favourite pyrotechnic night, returns to mark the end of this year's Brisbane Festival. Our city skyline lights up in an explosion of colour on Saturday 27 September. Triple M’s live broadcast starts in the afternoon, along with the breath-taking aerial displays. Channel Nine’s exclusive coverage begins at 6.30pm. The fireworks extravaganza, set to a brand new soundtrack, is at 7pm.
